Saw this at my Dad’s house and thought this was a pretty cool solution to organizing combo wrenches. And all this time I’ve been throwing my shit in a tool bag and digging thru it to find the one I need....

I asked him WTF, and he laughed and said “your mother did that!” Haha! Thanks mom!

Wow that’s cool! Your mom needs to help me clean/straighten my garage. And basement. Dining room. Front room. Back yard.

Yeah I’ve got tools everywhere.

I was walking the dogs this morning and found this in the brush along the roadway. I'll keep it for a day or two to see if anyone is looking for it. If not hopefully one of the neighborhood kids will take it. 20190707_175821.jpeg

About time you found a use for that. Really though, what a great idea.

Well, I'm YouTube certified and that's where I got the idea from. Dude had actually dug a larger hole and put a bottle jack under the concrete. I was just more lazy and realized that the hilift might actually work. It did.

Great idea. What did you compact under the slab to keep it from settling?

Large chunks of concrete rock. And just packed them in. Figured better than nothing.

Uhhhhh that’s some next level ocd, did you really level out your sidewalk??

Tripping hazard. It was about a 2 inch drop. Beyond just grinding it down. I got it within a half inch now. I've got several of these around the property (old house), but this one was pretty bad. I was hoping just a large iron bar would pry it up but it wouldn't budge. This did the trick. Hell, mudjacking guys wanted 400 just to show up.
