What did Brown Santa show up with today..

After doing tire rotation over the weekend I noticed that my front pads are not far from being done. Only 12k miles. So I ordered Mopar replacement pads from Quadratec and they were delivered in two days.

Wow. That's not much mileage at all. I rotated the tires on the JT about 2 weeks ago and with 19k on it, they looked almost new. Do you drive mountain roads a lot?

That's what i thought. No mountains at all but a lot of stop and go traffic.

Pictures or it didn't happen. What brand did you go with?
I’ll take some tomorrow. I got the el cheap from Amazon. Bought the 4 year no questions asked warranty for $30. We’ll see how it does and I’ll see if it’s something I’ll use before I send a bunch of money.

PSC ported box and pump arrived today.Ill probably run without a ram and cooler for awhile.

There pretty handy. Nice time saver. We used one on my jeep for removal of several brackets.
I do suggest grinding away any extra metal before It cools. Seams like it gets hard as hell after. Maybe just my imagination tho.

Had to go to Reno to pick them up but got some Spicer Chromoly axles for the front of the JL, the driveline & Gear service shop got them in stock the day after I ordered. Most places online said they wouldn't ship until July or so.

10044459 is the part number, I am a little concerned that the catalog shows the Chromoly shafts being silver instead of black. Spicer makes non chromoly upgrades too that are black in the catalog. Either way they are far heavier yokes and have full circle clips so they are an upgrade and for the price I'm happy. FYI I got the ones that retain the FAD and the kit did not come with the intermediate shaft...

Rancho front axle glide plate came in to help protect the drain plug. Hopefully I can get it on tomorrow.
