The automatic braking system prevents airliner brakes from overheating on landing, but it wasn’t functioning on this plane. Brakes got hot and the heat flattened the tire while waiting for the brakes to cool.

Made a 2 hour pickup truck drive into a 39 minute Cessna 182 flight.
Went to central Illinois to look at a combine head.
Crops look good all the way.

That anti theft stuff looks noisy, and also like it wouldn't stop me if I were a thief.
