Show Off Your Guns!

I heard folks were having great luck with h100v in the 6.5, so I snagged a 1 lb can for this first batch... but I'm wondering if that's just more internet hype surrounding an already over hyped cartridge. I've also got an 8lb jug of h4350 that I really like for my 300wm. I like the temp stability (which is a big deal around here)... so I'll definitely give that a try on the next batch. Thanks!
No prob. I have also had good luck with h4831. The h4350 seems a little more consistent on the chronograph.

Think I already solved my accuracy problem. I was so focused on the scope rings that I accidentally ignored the (rather large) bolts clamping the rings to the pic rail. Genius me checked them this morning and they were barely finger tight. Guess I'm lucky the scope didn't come flying off & bash me in the face.

So..... that's a no on my load?

Any of you use scope cams? Thinking of getting one for hunting and could be used for airsoft and targets as well.

Forgot I actually have a 1 lb can of that also... I think I used it on some loads for my son's 8mm Mauser.

I didn't think of using it for the 6.5 though. I'll give it a try too! Thanks again!

That will do it for sure. Blue locktite is your friend and also install a bubble level on your scope. for long range shooting.

Your 6.5 should be punching no worse then .7 MOA at 100yds with a heavy barrel. Most good manufactures will hold 1 MOA as a guarantee but will shot much better with hand loads.

Where are the good places to go in SD now? Went several years back but have no idea nowadays.

We hunted in and around Meadow SD in 2022 and 2024 with good success. We're from Michigan, so its a every 2 year trip for us. Will be going back next July.
