What was done to your rig this week?

How simple was the install of the Switch Pros?

It is actually fairly simple, more so if you don't have a dual battery setup. The firewall location in my situation was a little tough with the dual battery set up. I couldn't use the wide mounting plate that utilizes the bolts. So, i just pulled the battery forward and slipped it in without the plate. Thought about making my own mounting plate but it isn't going anywhere. I think the unit itself is its own heatsink so probably dosen't need the mounting plate. I plan on mounting the button control panel on the A pilar above the Genesis G-panel.

Doesn't sound too bad! I know pretty little when it comes to electronics (other than wiring subs/amps etc). I am stuck between the Switch Pros and the Trail Rocker w/ switches. I'm really leaning towards the Switch Pros though.

Ya. It really is simple. Instructions are quite good. I didn't care for the look of the SPOD switches. Simpler than installing an oil pan skid:)

Well I guess I'll most likely be purchasing one here soon if it's that simple. After hearing about Eddie's story with the Spod guy I decided against it. Thanks for the advice though!

Got rid of my rubicon express lift and replaced it with the evo enforcer 3"! Now my tires look way too small

Doesn't really classify as doing something to my Jeep, but I guess it is still something for my Jeep build. Sold the still new in the crate Mopar/Spicer Ultimate Dana 60 axles that I had. Even made a fair profit on them since I got them for under list price, before the price on them went up a few hundred. Will be going with Dynatrac PR60 axles. After crunching the numbers I really only need to save for 2 months or so to cover the extra cost of the Dynatrac axles over the Mopar/Spicer axles. After opening up the crate on the front UD60 last time I was home, and seeing how small and thin the upper axle C's were, it just made sense considering how all out I'm going on the suspension and wheels/tires. Plus I don't have to figure out the high steer on my own with the Dynatrac front axle.

Pre Done Post

I got a set of cheap LEDs for back up lights.

I'm trying to decide where to put them in the bumper. I think "A" so they will throw some light out to the side and back combined with the factory back up lights it will give more coverage.

"B" is the traditional placement. What do you think ?

A would be nice for the extra side light and would still help with backing up if they are flood pattern, either way it would be good in both spots. I would suggest using tape or something in both spots at night and see what you like more :thumb:
