Yes, I have moved them around to get the backlash into spec, .006-.010. Currently just a hair over .007 backlash.

My 2nd gear swap, first one was 20 years ago and somehow got it near perfect on the first shot. This one has me scratching my head a little. JK Dana 44 rear, 5:13 Revolution gears. .007 backlash with approximately the same carrier preload as factory setup, 15-20in/lb pinion preload. .037...
