It was 2002 for me. A 65" Sony rear projection HDTV (1080) that was enormous and weighed a ton. At the time, it cost just shy of $5000.

I bought my first "big screen" back in 2011 - it was a 42" Plasma and it was $1400. I just got a 54" last fall and it was under $300.

Remember the price lol? We just bought a tv for our game room for 250 bucks and it's nicer than the bigass shit back then. Nuts.

I started to get rid of some old computing related stuff around the house. I ran into some Y2K safe operating system software.

Remember when DVD's and then widescreen TV's first came out and you bought the full screen DVD instead of the widescreen one? :mad:

We would continue to do business up north somewhere. Maybe travel down to So-Cal a couple times a year too.
