Me too. I was taught if the teeth for the starter are on the converter, then it is a flex plate, if the are not, it is a flywheel. Although a pedantic internet expert would disagree, that is how I have always known them.
It depends. I don't usually put much trust in the 'Interweb Experts' out there. If it is someone I am familiar with and they have a track record of well thought out ideas, I may consider their advance.

It depends. If I am going to respond and I have issues I take the time to actually give reasons when there is a space to do so. I don't just mark a low number without being able to explain what my issue is. If they don't provide boxes to type in, I don't respond at all.
