As mentioned spot beam is best.

I have Rigid side winders. They are spots, but have built in ditch lights.

Whatever pisses off the most people on the road is what I usually go with..........

I’ve always used spot, wide can give a pretty good reflection off your hood.

Which would be better for a-pillar lights. A spot beam or wide beam.
