What the heck is that thing? Auxiliary coolant pump? Out of curiosity, what engine did your Jeep come with. I get the frustration, but it would be helpful to others to have more context on the issue...ie additional vehicle specs, lift kit... Just my 2 pennies. 😁 I go now!

Hopefully all your electrical issues are resolved. Just a thought...consider replacing the self-tapping bolt with a welded stud on the frame. That way, you can secure the ground wires more reliably with a lock nut.
