Okay so just to be clear the bracket (labeled A & B) slides into the mounting bracket with the visible gussets. The tire then mounts to "B" and the breakage is occurring at "A"? If so are any of the version 2.0's with welded on gussets breaking? Does anyone have a pic of the new style to...

Wow just trying to get some information on tire carriers and had to read through 15 pages of posturing... I was looking at the TF carrier because I liked the integrated tailgate design (thanks to the Maximus post looks stout) & not sure I wanted to use a bumper/frame mount. Not sure which way...
