For the last year I have been debating on the next phase of my build (we all know it's never done). I currently am running a full DTD and want to switch the rear to a triangulated 4 link with a 12" stretch. Just looking for some help on a list of things I will need to see if I'm missing...
I am running one in a 2 door just not on 40s, but hopefully one day. It is great, the only thing I would change is going to a 12" stretch. I've found it provides a lot of added traction capability, especially with open axels I've done climbs that other people have issues on.
I have the opportunity to get a set of Rubicon axles for $2k. 5.13 gears with factory lockers, Artec trusses, already tabbed for DTD. The questions I have are, how big of a deal is it to get the factory lockers to work without the stock wiring? And are 5.13 too much for a DD on 35s with a 3.6...
I'll be in between San Diego and Oceanside next weekend. I'm looking for a decent trail to take someone kinda new on. Something that also easier to navigate since I've never been.
I have 2 lifts available. In Las Vegas and prefer not to ship.
