Having lived in both Nevada (ranked one of the worst) and now in Idaho (ranked one of the best), I can unequivocally say that all of the C.O.W.s should choose Nevada over Idaho. ;)
It’s proof of liability insurance and it has nothing to do with the cost of your vehicle. It’s a minimum amount (far too little in my opinion) designed to protect other drivers in case you ruin their shit. Nobody really cares if you ruin your own shit.

Definitely not what I got. Mine came in the mail and you heat them up in water then push them into your ears (almost like a football mouthpiece). No bluetooth…just a wad of bubblegum.
I tried the in-ear mold yourself for like $30 and, honestly, they suck.
Now I shoot suppressed most of the time so just adding the little orange ear plugs or a set of cheap muffs is all I find necessary.
Believe me, the stand alone has crossed my mind since Boise dumped smog checks a couple of years ago. I’ll pay off my Gladiator next year and that’s when I’ll start looking seriously at options. I don’t need crazy power, but having SOME power would be nice. 🤣
Before I lifted mine I was looking at getting rid of it and going a different route (either a 392 or a real truck). In the end, I couldn’t justify the added cost of either.
The gladiator works for my needs and it does drive far better on the freeway (even with 37’s) than either of my JKURs do...
Mine works for me because I can carry all of the camping/apocalypse shit I like to carry. lol. But I could certainly get by just fine with a wrangler and a small off road trailer for my RTT.
