Oh trust me I don't mind traveling at all for a wheeling trip and we are staying till Sunday to make a full weekend out of it. Definitely have a ton of trails in our area as you know so would love to have you guys out here.

Question for anyone using the UV-82.
-I turn it on.
-It's in "Frequency Mode"
-I can enter the 3 frequencies (151.625 151.250 and 151.430) with 2 of them on the screen at the same time.
-I can toggle between frequencies shown and when I hit the PTT the transmit light comes on.
Confirm I'm good to go to send and receive and no additional programing is necessary.
-I turn it on.

So I'm fairly new here... Jeeps pretty sorted minus a little locker issue that I'm trying to fix atm, 37's so hopefully should be ok. It's a bit of a hike down there but I'd love to join in... could really use a fresh start this year or at least a fun run to kick it off!
