Slightly larger tires on a Jeep JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator can cause minor rubbing of the frame or suspension components when making a full turn. As in, having your steering wheel turned to a full lock. Fortunately, there is a simple fix for it and in this short video, you'll get to see just how easy it is to adjust your steer stops and with nothing more than a 15mm socket and a washer or two.

We hope that you find our Jeep tip to be useful and if you enjoy seeing our Ripley clips, be sure to keep watching till the end! :)

Nice, wish I knew this a few years ago when I had to buy wheel spacers on my last JK. Well, now I know, thanks for the video!

Wait, let me make some popcorn and go wait in the other thread for the reactions of the unwashed douche baggeryers.....

Ripley, Good Girl. She gave you the "WTF are you doing with my toys Dad?" look.

That steer stop option is the real deal. After you told me about it last year, it took me all of about 10 minutes to correct the rubbing that was driving me crazy on my Gladiator. One washer and no more rub. I never would have known about that without your input. Thanks again Eddy.

Love the beginner videos. Going to send this out to about 20 people that I know that just have entered the jeep community.
Awesome! Glad to know that they're helpful and that you'd want to share them with others. 😎

Well, there still a place for wheel spacers but for minor rubbing at a turn, this is really all you need.
Great information there.

Ripley is so smart. I can get my dogs to get a ball, but you never know which one you’ll get.
LOL - glad you found our video to be informative :)

LOL - yes, that is about the look that she gave :ROFLMAO:

As far as the douche baggery comments go, there have been a few but they deleted them before I could respond. I'm starting to think that some of these bone heads comment before actually watching our videos and once they do, they realize for themselves just how stupid they were. 🤪
I cant even get my dog to come in out of the rain. She's not bright. 😆
LOL

What is the impact on the minimum turn radius due to the larger tire and this small adjustment?
Not enough to even notice really. Add more washers and it would be something you'd see.
Nice and easy (y)
Just like how I like it 😁

LOL - Ripley was born to learn. She thrives on it so it makes things a lot easier.

Another great video containing important information, especially for a new Jeep owner.

Love the Ripley videos! She is super cute and highly intelligent.

I think Ripley is smarter than at least 50% of the voters in this country. She is capable of educated and informed decisions! She capable of critical thought! 🤣😂
