What do you have going on with the boxes 6’ up the wall?

Wall lights about 8 feet high. One on the left is for inside the office. That box in the foreground is the switch for that particular light. The other ones up high will be wall lights for the hallway back against the blue wall.

A gallon of gas and a road flare is where I’d be with a project like that.
Don't think I haven't considered it. [emoji23]

Holy Shit... I like the way you propped up the walls to remove the floor... You definitely have some moisture issues.
That's what the crawlspace looks like after 13 straight hours of rain. This is why were going with a raised slab. Drainage and grading projects will be in the near future. [emoji849]

Is that a Jackel sewage ejector pit?
Edit: I see the handle now, I wondered why you needed a pit

Not sure what you're referring to. No sewage under there, just poor handling of rainwater.

This perplexes me to look at. Curious if this fix is worth the investment vs just rebuilding. Or does the job just look worse then it is

That looks like a helluva lot of work, I think I agree with HighwayTrout. You had a perfectly good house in Cali didn't you? Whats the plan to fill it up with concrete to the bottom plates?

By the time we're done with the entire remodel, I expect to be all-in around $30k-$40k max. If you can find someone to tear it down and build new for that, please send me his number. [emoji41]

Danm dude... I'd put down a visqueen vapor barrier before you reframe the girders and joists to save it from happening again...
Backfilling the crawlspace and pouring a slab. I never want to deal with this again.

Only thing wrong with my house in CA was that it was in CA.
