Caught the Bug
ABS and traction control lights came on. Code reader gave me right front speed sensor. So I got a pair of front unit bearings and replaced the whole thing on both sides. Drivers side came off with a little bit of effort, but not bad. Passenger side which threw the code was a bitch. First I snapped a bolt, then to get the bearing off I ended up using a bottle jack on its side with a socket and straps. But in the end, all worked out. Dash lights went back off.
While I was at it I installed the ABS kill switch. Very easy job, but the 2 purple wires, I couldn’t see any difference in the blue stripe. So of course the first one I cut was wrong. That one turned on the airbag light in the dash. Spliced back together, cut the right one and all good.
Stock steer assist shock dumped its fluid. Picked up the rancho 8500 cuz the dealership had none.
