Winch decision

I'm trying to figure out what winch to go with. I've been looking at the warn Zeon platinum 10 s with the wireless remote. Do these have any problems with the wireless or would it be better to just get the wired controller.

I wouldn't spend money on Platinum or wireless controller. Start with wired, you can always add wireless later if deemed necessary.

Thanks the Zeon 10 S is a good bit cheaper too .

Zeon-S, can always add wireless later, if you go that route you will still have wired if say your battery dies on the remote.

Initially they had a few problems. I wouldn't go with the wireless. One more thing to go wrong, should you actually need the winch.

I have Zeon 10 and put a synthetic line on it from masterpull. I like the lower profile design. Have used it several times and no complaints.

Zeon 10 S on my rig and its great. Low profile and a reliable winch.

If you want low profile and new flatter design the Zeon is it. If you the ultimate series that's faster then the Cti is the one.
