After our Windrock run, my passenger side started the popping. It’s annoying as hell. You can order a rebuild kit for them, but like Eddie said, it’s considered normal for RCVs to do that.

Are they having the same issues with the Hemi swaps or because of similar platforms, they work better long term?

Couldn’t agree with you more. But I think he’s doing it for as much as the way it looks on 40s verses being able to run them as you do and I will. Different mindset I guess

When mine when, it was the same set of circumstances. Beginning of winter and a whole bunch of saltwater pools all over the roads.

It’s been a year, but to replace and rebalance mine was like $150 I think.

Are you running a ram on it? I can’t imagine trying to turn 40s in and kind of sand or rocks with out one.

One more thing to keep in mind are your front unit bearings. They’re not designed for...

Mine was a non greaseable joint and when it failed I had it replace with one that was. Now i grease it at every oil change.

Have you upgraded your front DS? If so, it’s your double cardan joint seizing up and needs to be greased and probably rebuilt.
