Snatch straps are for yanking out stuck buddies. Like the bubba rope you cited. They are expensive, but are worth it when you need it. I have never needed it. A regular tow strap has met my needs...

I meant to tell you this is an awesome Idea on the nuts!

I turned mine off, but it didn't feel any different from a driving point of view.

Its all electronic activation, nothing mechanical so I cant see anything dragging.

Remember the purpose of tuning the antenna is to have good range and also NOT BURN UP THE RADIO... As long as your not in a constant need of talking to people 5 miles away, a good tune will not be...
