Just a little update on my continued mock up before the final tear down and painting....

For the 1987 to 1995 YJ Tilt Steering Column I picked up- thought I would post things along the way... sure...

Today finished up the final mock up/ adjustments on the fenders- hood and windshield frame...

Been a while since I have updated on my CJ project.

Got all the body pieces bolted on for the first mock up... have some tweaking I need to do to get all the gaps perfect but overall real happy...

A little more progress on my 76 CJ5 project-

Set the new Repli-Tub on the chassis to make sure all the body bolts match up- Perfect!

Now will finish mocking up the remaining body parts- Front...

Thanks- appreciate all the feedback on color... the white does have that factory look/feel but really does fit the 5's look for sure.

Just realized I never posted pics on this Thread of the Jeep the day I dragged it home... As we all know you kinda roll the dice on buying any old/neglected Jeep as you never know what is lurking...

Cannot wait to get the KBS chassis paint in the Satin Black on- New brake and fuel lines installed along with the new Gas tank and skid plate. Going to really clean things up for sure.

Is this truly the right way to measure the actual lift on my Jeep?

Do you have your Skid plate/ trans case lowered like mine- about 1 1/2 inches?
