Stall when driving but no dash lights.

Same thing happened to me. Engine died and would start right up. Then it began not cranking until I tried a few times. Problem was bad alternator, bad battery and battery terminals not installed correctly. Battery & alternator tests can’t always be trusted. Batteries & alternators often will...

    Brakes

If your Wrangler spends much time off-road, especially in sand or mud, inspect your parking brakes for wear. The dirt that gets in there is abrasive and wears down the shoes. I tore down my rear brakes to adjust the parking brake and found this. This was the good side. The other side was worn...

Bell P-63 King Cobra, big brother to the P-39 Aerocobra. Both aircraft were sent to the Soviet Union during WWII where they were put to use breaking tanks and shooting down German fighters. My family used to go to the Point Mugu every year for the airshow. Back then, the Blue Angels (and the Thunderbirds) were still flying F-4 Phantoms. I remember where we usually parked was in front of a hangar that had giant letters spelling out DANGER! PROPS KILL. It left a lasting impression on me

Friend of mine sent me a photo of a De Haviland Twin Otter from McMurdo Station, Antarctica. That’s him, waving at the camera. The Twin Otter is a versatile Short Takeoff and Landing airplane powered by two Pratt & Whitney turbo prop engines. When the pilot hauls back on the stick for a maximum...

Running a JL with wheels off the ground

Try putting your Jeep in 4 hi and pressing the ESC button until you get the ESCOFF message. It takes about 10 seconds. Engaging 4lo disengages the ESC. You should get the ESCOFF message as soon as 4lo is engaged.
