That's one of the main reasons why I pull the rooftop tent off when we're not camping. That, and I prefer not to have the tent on.

The wife and I ran down to LA and then over to the Phenix area a couple of months ago and saw quite a few of those trucks with different sayings on the back of them. The wife was getting a kick out of reading them and I have to admit, there were some good ones.

Spent a handful of days running around Death Valley. Went in over Mengal Pass and down through Warm Springs. Ran around exploring Mines and doing the tourist thing for a day or so and went out by Chloride Cliff.

Spent a couple of days in Pacific Beach, WA. The sand was hard so it was just easy beach driving.
