Is this part just a crush sleeve? Thinking I could use a dremel to cut out a 1/8th inch of it and then just tighten that torx in the middle of it down more.

Took Atticus into a local shop that does more CJ stuff. The owner and other guy spent about 45 min drooling over him which was kind of fun. Still thinking on issue from this morning. I'll try it again tomorrow and see how it does. In the meantime, I scored some half doors and soft uppers for $230! One of the uppers is slashed so I'll need a new one of those. And yes, red doors on a green Jeep. Merry Christmas.

Well, I disconnected the carburetor and fuel is definitely making it from the pump thru the fuel filter. It was on for 1-2 seconds and this is what's in the bag: So I don't think it's a clogged line, the fuel pump, or the fuel filter.

Hope yours works. Mine is turned on and still doesn't.

Not sure. Definitely textured, like a powdercoat, but I don't think it is powdercoat.

Bumper should be secured by 4 bolts. One was missing the nut so totally loose. Another was stripped. Put two new ones on to replace. Also removed the cube lights on the bumper (those will go to Scout) and the attachment points for flat towing it (I'll hold onto those).

Looks like it's by hand. And looks like it's already as tight as it'll go. Maybe need a new belt or the one on there is the wrong size.

This looks like the alternator would swing out, increasing tension, but I don't see a bolt to tighten to move it. Looks like it'd be by hand which seems weird.
