I use the viar 450p and couldn't really be happier with it for what it is. The twin ARB is sweet for sure and I'd love to own one at some point. The viar performs well enough that I'm in no hurry though..
I think this is a great point. If I already had Milwaukee batteries I would have gotten a Milwaukee, same goes for DeWalt. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the big 3 1/2" impact manufacturers.
I just picked up the new 1/2" brushless Makita impact. I already had some Makita stuff so I was able to buy the bare tool. I love it, it's a beast, 1180 ft/lbs of breakaway torque and 740 ft/lbs of torque. Great balance in my hand as well.
A couple things to keep my tires out of my fenders. If I decide to go higher than 2.25" in the future everything but the spacers and shocks should work..
Finally got off my lazy butt and installed my RockHard transfer case skid. I forgot to order to additional rock dome washers but at least that's a quick add when I receive them.
was pretty happy when I came home to this.. I know most here prefer Milwaukee. I've been a Makita guy for a long time though and didn't feel like adding another battery platform
I've been running 315 x 70 x r17s on stock suspension with 1.5" wheel spacers on stock wheels for a few weeks now. No rubbing at all, even in at full lock over bumps. I've got a 2dr Recon though
