    Gas can placement

I like this spot. It should work well with stock and carriers. Keeps the weight closer to the hinge. This guy took a hi-lift mount and bolted a jerry can holder to it. On a side note, I have had this Rampage tool box can forever. It doesn't fit under my rear cover. How do they hold up...

    Taillight Tuesday...

I love my third brake light mod! It flashes with the hazards, and the edges blink amber when turning. It also lights up with the running lights, but I disabled that feature. The 3d brake, rear lights, and antenna are on a two foot extending platform to lift it to the roof.

    SHOW us the SNOW!!

This is from before I built up my XJ. Imagine your first impression, but backwards. I had left the dome light on in the Cherokee overnight. The Willys came to the rescue for a jump.

    Viair constant duty

like u/JKUArizona said, pop off the cover and start checking things. The internal wiring should be pretty close to this diagram. Check for connections on the whole circuit. Set the Multimeter to ohms, and check across the "Pressure switch" Low resistance means it is tripped and calling for...

    Need rear lighting?

If it ends up being not enough, I can offer some design ideas for an extending light platform. http://wayalife.com/showthread.php?36813-New-Rear-Lighting-Idea&p=701356&viewfull=1#post701356

MUDDY MONDAY - Show Us Your Jeep in the Sticky Stuff!!

Ah, my more innocent days. Anyone familiar with Yankee Lake near Hubbard, Ohio? I only went there twice, but always left with no less than $500 in repairs! This time was a blown alternator, and wheel bearings. I could hear the electricity arcing inside the alternator! I wish i could find the...

    Flipped drag link

Looks OK to me. As long as the drag link and track bar are parallel to each other, it will fix bump-steer. A right-hand-drive drag link is a good alternative than a drop-pitman arm, that can put extra stress on the steering box. (RHD link 52126058AD $50, Drag link flip adapter $10)

Which one u got cb or vhf/uhf

Plan for anything. I have a 2-meter ham radio I use daily and mounted forward of the shifter. I have a Cobra 75 CB hidden and in the glovebox, since that is the most ubiquitous on the trail. The antenna is magnetic on the tire carrier and stored inside off the trail. And I have some GMRS...

    Back up camera for lines

I've seen this done on a few forums, and definitely want to try it some day. I found a 4 channel monitor for ~$80 and the cameras go for ~$15/ea. Here is a complete kit on amazon for a decent $170 http://a.co/dq0Qdso The usual offroad store would sell the same thing for over $400

    Paintball Gun

This is all technology from a decade ago. Oh yea, They make em with Magazines... And some use fin-stabilized rounds. Theyre supremely accurate. this also means a rifled barrel can be used to make em even better. not super cheap yet though.

    Paintball Gun

Hmm, onboard paintball system ... Paintball marker regulators usually take the air down to a couple hundred PSI before being used in the marker. If you can bypass the regulator and plumb it directly to a regular air tank. you might BARELY get it to fire. Could still be fun though. What about...

    Rock light wiring

Technically, yes, it will work. And assuming the diode is installed right... (load) ----|<---- (Source) (-) ----|<---- (+) (Cathode) --[| ]--- (Anode) But this puts a strain on the Jeeps existing systems. I would recommend wiring the interior lights to a relay, through a...

    DIY Spod- Waytekwire

I'm not sure if this might help you or not. This is my understanding of most winch controls. Depending on your winch, it will be a combination of the left two control boxes, and the right two switch layouts to fit your needs.

    DIY Spod- Waytekwire

Lucily, you won't need another relay to make this work, all you have to do is emulate the remote switch. For an in-cab winch control, it can go either way depending on the type of winch you have. Look at the plug on your remote, If there are three pins, then it will be easy as pie. I'm too...

Lets see your work shop or garage

Heres my garage, back when I was rebuilding the Willys CJ-2A. It was my grandfathers, with low ceilings, narrow bays, and old barn-board siding. Can you imagine fitting a 60s boat-of-a-car in here?! The foundation on the house says 1889.

    New Rear Lighting Idea

Looks like i might have to do a build page soon. I've made a few changes recently. And the wiring is getting intense. I've since moved it to the center, cutting out the 3rd brake light stalk (it was cracked anyways) and put in my own 3rd brake light LED strip on the platform. It also has turn...
