Some potential inspiration.

Not my Jeep, but my old Xterra at Glamis in early '06. We were getting buzzed by the Blue Angels and instead of waiting to stop to look and them, I looked up to watch and subsequently turned right...right off the top of the dune in this mess.

I like to keep it simple.

This went down this past weekend, I was unable to make the trip, but friends from here went up to the 'con for the weekend and ran into them. I quote "They had 24 engineers stacking the trail to get it through." I didn't hear if they unstacked, but I'm sure they did. :yup:

I heard from other competitors that it was because he was running a coil slider and thus could run a dual rate setup. You can see the slider in the pic below. Though, I did hear that Mel was willing to go and weld the two springs together and remove the slider. :thumb: He was still allowed to...

Myself and a buddy made the trek from Northern Nevada down to Laughlin Nevada to meet up a group of friends out of Orange County and some others from the San Fran bay area to run the Mojave Road. This was my 3rd time running it and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th+ times for many others in the group...
