VIDEO : All Terrain Tires that Grapple the Snow

Those look pretty slick. At Toyo Trail Pass last September I was talking with some folks and they were talking about Nitto releasing these. Glad to hear they perform well. And 70k mile warranty is crazy...haha

    The BIRTHDAY GIRLS Run 2025

Happy birthday to both Cindy and Ripley. Haven't been to the crowbar in over 10 years. At first I thought that first homestead yiu went to was China ranch. Next time you're out that way there is a new brewery in Tecopa. I want to check it out.

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Had to go to her IG to see what kind of kook she is. The comments on her posts are priceless....haha. Edit: Still have no idea who she is or why she is hugging Biden or in the oval office.

    EV Awesomeness

Well Jeep does come to mind but I thought there were some others who re-tooled for EV's. Honestly common sense was showing that the want and sustainability of EV's isn't there. Manufacturers should habe pushed back harder. Glad to see the new administration holding up there end of the deal.

    EV Awesomeness

Hopefully it's not too late. I know some manufacturers went all in on the EV movement due to the federal mandates. Let's see what happens now.

I think that is coming also. I thought there was something in the article about that too.

    EV Awesomeness

California has come to its senses in requiring locomotives operating in this state to be fully electric by 2030 by ending this requirement. This is the best part of the article. Even my 3yo would probably understand the railroads position: Although BNSF has been testing out electric...

    Fire in California

I'm willing to bet the cause of the Palisades fire was arson. The conspiracy theorist in me feels they may have been a part of the LAFD illustrating the point to the top elected officials about how their dept was financially fucked and illprepared. Just saying. Could be true

What was done to your rig this week?

Finally got around to washing the coffee cart. I also took the opportunity to replace my old, peeling Rubicon hood stickers with the ones bentac1 sent me nearly 2 years ago...haha. IMO looks a lot better. Hard to believe this thing just turned 13 this month!

    Fire in California

What you're not understanding is that it would have taken a mile wide fire break to potentially do anything. There are all kinds of existing fire breaks, they're called roads! Fires in the situation we just experienced jumped them with ease. Also you don't understand that in times like this...

    Fire in California

I'm sure in theory something like this would work. The big issue I see is practical application and then operation. Maintenance and who turns it on? Also it would have years and years of sitting with no use except for periodic testing. I've seen the aging fire sprinkler system on an 80yo...

    Fire in California

I'm not letting the politicians off at all, but I'm also not sure what you think could have been done. Are you suggesting that all the hillsides be cleared of brush? If so that's just ridiculous. Could they have tried building a huge fire break around these communities? Yes. Biggest problem with...
