Added 1.5" wheel spacers, chopped the fenders and painted the rear wheel wells. I think it turned out pretty good.

With these mounts it's really just about 8" or so off center in either direction so I'm not sure why you would say that. You can see from this shot how close to the brake light mine is. It would be the same distance on the driver side.
