1 ton swap initial placement references

Ok sounds like the main reference for forward setting is on the bump stops. Sounds good I'll go down that route

1 ton swap initial placement references

So this is roughly ride height. I guess it doesn't look too far off just wondering if there is a good starting point reference for how far forward to set this thing

1 ton swap initial placement references

Feel like I need to set the forward to aft placement first then I can set the pinion and caster angle. Just looking for a good reference to set that off of.

1 ton swap initial placement references

Gents looking for some tips on initial placement of these axles before I get everything together to measure. Kept the control arms the same length initially. 12' Gecko Build

I have those for wheeling them around the garage it's more about getting the top one down from chest height haha. Yeah the problem is more getting the top axle down from chest height. Those pallet jacks don't lift that high to separate the crates. My current best idea is to grab a HF engine...

Welp they are here which is awesome but damn now I gotta figure out how the hell to get them in the garage. My first thought is engine hoist and just tear down the crates in the driveway. Any other creative ideas out there outside of renting a fork lift 🤔

Any way to disable the passenger airbag (2017)

i could be wrong but if you leave the weight sensor plugged in and its not sensing weight on it the airbag shouldn't fire. Did you pull the weight sensor out of the seat when you removed it?

Thanks man. Unfortunately not, life kinda got in the way of keeping both when we left ND to move down to albuquerque. After having to crawl fully under that thing with no axles i feel like I still don't have enough holding it up. Just trying to pretend it's not sketchy
