On 2018 to 2024 Wranglers with part time 4wd, there is a FAD (front axle disconnect) Basically, the front DS does not spin while in 2WD.

Clocked 762 miles from Santa Rosa NM to Little Rock AR. Windy the entire way. Sucked!
