When brown Santa don't deliver. Had to fly to Dubai to collect my rear lights. I need the European version for local compliance and for when I return home. Plus it's a good excuse to spend a week in Dubai.

Being recovered by an FJ the guys have posted it on Instagram and it's getting hits from all over the Middle East. I only tried the crossing over the tidal area because the FJ and Nissan crew would not try it.

Only jeep out this week , we had an evening fishing after a drive across the desert. After sunrise we headed back for a fast drive over the fine windward sand of the dunes. Lost my front plate and plastic air dam during the night but recovered the plate in the morning when back tracking the trail.

Friday was in the inland sea area in Qatar. We had a WJ blow a head gasket and had to recover to the highway for transport. However the GMC truck was too powerful and pulled off the front tow point. He had to use the rear hitch and tow in reverse for 20km across the desert.

At the moment it is in the tool kit holder. We have mandatory requirement for fire extinguisher, warning triangle and first aid kit. Jeep supply a special bag along with extra tools with all this for this market.

My Tissot PR 50 it Swiss and you guessed it, it runs like a Swiss watch. No gadgets to fail just tells the time and date!

This is what I am using at the moment. I also have a TCOP US army tent for more covert desert use. My jeep is a two door so I pack light and leave the canopy and wife at home.

With two jeeps and a British army basha (tarp). It worked well for us . Yes it is a roof top bed on the Nissan .

I tried using the ball mount but it would not support the iPad mount. I got the yoke mount that uses a hose clip with a rubber sleeve. It can be removed and returned to stock with no issues. I have used this for the last few months on rock crawling and high speed desert driving

50" or 52" light bars your thoughts have this set up on my jeep for desert driving . This is in addition to my Jw speaker fog lights. Still have stock headlights as I may return to England and need to change to r/h lights with Eu certification .
