Heating elements are the worst on batteries! Even a basic pancake griddle will tear through my Yeti 500 battery.

I just won the electric griddle version at a golf tournament and gave it one of my sons. He used it for the first time last weekend and said it worked pretty well. I bet it would burn through a battery fast camping though.

It’s proof of liability insurance and it has nothing to do with the cost of your vehicle. It’s a minimum amount (far too little in my opinion) designed to protect other drivers in case you ruin their shit. Nobody really cares if you ruin your own shit.
