Need to fit 35"s, how much do I have to lift?

a friend of mine ran 35s with no lift, he just cut his pinch seems and refused to cut his factory fenders. it worked for a while, he now has a 4" lift. i would trim the fenders, where ever else necessary to prevent rubbing and 2" bumpstops in the rear, this is how i ran 37s for a couple of...

So I got my bump stop issue resolve. I took the 4" aluminum synergy bump stops to a friends machine shop and shortened them to 3.5" and bore out the hole for a .5" bolt and bore out the top to have the cap head counter sunk. Then I went to the hardware store and found the bolts. Total cost $1...

    37" tires, no lift?

I did that! Trim your fenders- flat fender mod, trim your front and rear pinch seams about 1.5"-2", install 2" bump stop extensions in the rear, rear out steering stops about 1/4", stubby your front bumper and trim the rear bumper or remove all together. Probably could have used a 1" bump stop...

Time for an update. Since post #47 I re-sprayed the cut fenders with bed liner, I broke some of the clips and bought some off of amazon. The front passenger side fender only had Amazon fender clips and flew away on the highway, thankfully it didn't hit anybody, I turned around to pick it up but...
