    Jeep JL 3.6 oil

First thing that came to mind was the PCV valve on the back of the passenger head. On a positive note/trend, some manufacturers are putting items that more likely to fail and need replacement in more accessible locations. Toyota comes to mind on a couple models/engines where they...

    Jeep JL 3.6 oil

It is pretty crazy how expensive these repairs are. For reference: both head gaskets, radiator, and a couple of miscellaneous items (belt, oil cooler, therm, etc..) was around $4k (OEM parts and repair at Jeep dealer).

    Jeep JL 3.6 oil

That was part of the reason I just kept the old parts.

    Jeep JL 3.6 oil

Curious how much it cost to replace the cams and rockers on one side (parts and then labor). I just had both head gaskets replaced and debated having the cams and rockers replaced as well; add it to the "while I'm there" category and reduce some labor cost for future repairs. Cams and rockers...

    WOOHOO - Autonomous Off-Roading!!

FWIW this did not affect Tesla's FSD or autonomous driving cars.

    JKU exhaust options.

I had a 14" magnaflow on a prior JK, sounds pretty good. Magnaflow has a little bit of an exhaust under water type of sound at times, similar to a boat. I have come to like the MBRP mufflers, seems to sound pretty good on the 3.6L.

HOW TO Fix a Flat Tire by Plugging a Hole

Will you continue to use the plugged tire like you did before it was repaired (air down, use on the trail, etc..) or are you using this only as a temporary measure until you can replace the tire?

Ya that’s a tough route. On quick glance, there are around a dozen DCFC sites on that route. Taking the quicker route using 40 or 20 would net significantly more DCFCs, for instance around 40 sites near the highway using I40. I’m all for hotel charging, especially when it’s ‘free’. I’m not on...

You’d be surprised. Somewhere between 3-400k miles driving in almost every state with an EV. The infrastructure is quite robust and continually expanding.

Naw I’m good. Wouldn’t mind driving it to see where jeep is with their EV tech. I’m happy with my teslas and JK

The point I’m making with saying it looks like they designed it to drop in an ICE powertrain: if sales don’t do well with the EV version, they can pivot easily with an ICE alternative and in the process, not lose a ridiculous amount of money investing in an EV only platform that can’t...

The other TFL channels are significantly larger. FWIW, they aren’t the best with speaking on EV related topics. They miss a lot of the main points that are important in regards to battery/motor/EV tech etc…

Aside from reliability concerns, I could see this selling a lot of units if the price is right. You can tell they built this model with the ability to drop in an ICE setup if they want to later.

I would be hesitant buying any BEV from Jeep. Given the issues with their Hybrid in the 4Xe and how unfinished it felt driving around… it’s unfortunate because it would be a great option to have a BEV in a Jeep Wrangler-ish platform.
