So im positive i am not alone on this but my 08jk hates 1st gear and drops out of it every once in awhile and my clutch slipped for the first time today. If anyone has had similar issues what was your fix? As for the backin out of first by itself I am thinking its the synchros? I could be wrong...

So i have read this may be a common problem but i have an 08jk manual trans and it pops out of first gear i have read that it may be the shift boot in the way, so i am going to remove it and see if it still has problems. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do?
