Just bought a 98 xj to start up for my project. It has 283k miles inline 6 it's going to be built from the bottom up its currently 2wd but friend has a Dana 30 front that I might get then me and my dad (pop2tu on forum) are going to slowly get all the parts to convert it to 4wd.
