JK 3.6 Upper and Lower Oil Pan Torque

Hi All, Does anyone happen to know the torque specs for the upper and lower oil pan bolts on the 3.6? I’ve only been able to find them on the JL forum for the JL (thanks Eddie!). Could be the same but would love to confirm. Thanks!

Minor Fender contact at full bump

I finally got some time to get out and fully flex my Jeep on the trail with my new setup. I am running 2” bumps in the front and 1” bumps in the rear to accommodate my 295/70R17 STT Pros. Right now the shocks use nearly all of their travel (half an inch exposed shaft at full bump) which is...

    Proper Brake Hose Slack

I just finished up installing Fox 2.0 Shocks for 1.5-3.5” lift height. With the new extended length, I needed to extend my brake lines to keep them from stretching at full droop. That said, with the JKS relocation brackets installed, the lines in the front still straighten out at full...

    Brake Hose Stress

Hi All, I installed new shocks last night, simple enough. That said, I made a rookie mistake and lowered my front axle with the shock disconnected only to find I had put a good amount of pressure on the brake hose and ABS line. I realized it immediately and raised it back up, but now I’m a...

Jack stands on all four corners

Hi All, I’ve got a new set of STT Pros coming this week to compliment the new lift. That said, my plan is to use 3 ton jack stands on the axle tubes to hold it up while I take the wheels and tires to Discount for mount/balancing. The reason for this is because I run Spidertrax and I’m a...

    DIY Bump Stops

Hi all, not sure if this is helpful or not but I thought I’d share my DIY hockey puck bump stops. I’ve heard plenty about using hockey pucks, but I haven’t come across a write-up yet, so here’s what I ended up doing. This is for 1” bump stops, super easy to add more if needed. What you’ll...

Stock Tire Carrier and 295/70R17 Tires

Apologies if this is covered, I’ve been searching a bunch without any luck. I am running stock Willys Wheeler wheels and plan to run 295/70R17 STT Pros when I get new tires. I have Spidertrax spacers, although not for the spare. My question is, will the wider tires mounted on OEM wheels be...

295/70R17 Tires with Leveling Kit and Spacers

Does anyone have experience running 295/70R17 tires on a JKU with just a Teraflex leveling kit and Spidertrax 1.5" spacers? Any issues when flexing disconnected? Debating between STT Pros in 285/70R17 and 295/70R17 and would love to know if there are any issues going the bigger route.
