Fortunately a shop in town had the bearings. I’ve never done them before so I was a little intimidated at first but once I got it clean up enough to see how it works, it was surprisingly easy to replace. The hardest part was breaking the old snap rings loose. Smooth sailing from there, no more...

Don’t be like me. Maintain your shocks or it’ll sound like the bed of your JT is about to fall off.

Another one bites the dust.. this fuckin dog has a full acre to run around 24/7, a 100lb German shepherd to play with, countless chew toys, random treats, food, and shelter. But for some reason loves to chew my damn speed sensor wires… lost count but I think this is the 2nd one up front in...

While heading back from a camping trip yesterday, we passed by the national park while episode 36 of the Kilauea eruption was happening. Note the plume on the right. When we got closer we could see the 1,000 foot lava fountain but the road was incredibly congested and people randomly slamming...

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Wow! If they’re not looking into this, I honestly don’t know what to say. White shirt outside the tent using signals that would not be visible for the guy in black under the tent. And the guy in blacks signals are actually lower than they should be, but could be just for visibility purposes...

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Tools are very easy to find. Here’s an old bottle opener my unit had made locally back in 2014.

What was done to your rig this week?

Finally finished ball joints on the JT. What a pain in the ass without the correct adapters. Even with the right ones, the cups still didn’t really fit the ball joint shoulder properly or the stud was too long to fit. After a really short test drive last night, steering wheel felt much more...

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

Welp, royally messed up the left lower ball joint on install attempt. My fault. Tried to use the generic straight adapters instead of the angled one for the C knuckle. Got the correct adapters, yet another set of ball joints, and the tie rod came in today. Gotta get this thing back on the road.

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

Track bar bushings and steering stabilizer relocation. Still waiting on tie rod.any tips on pressing out the bushing from the synergy track bar? Seems like it’s gonna be a pain in the ass to get the metal outer ring to come out with it.
