I’m slowly getting my garage just how I want it. I’m having my floor epoxied this week. I’ve been wheeling and dealing on FB marketplace and CL and have been setting aside funds for new toys. I’m making use of my overhead shelving, hung some rails for lawn and garden tools and have also hung some wall shelves, and some outdoor speakers, added a BT stereo, and hung an old flat screen left over from the divorce. Hope to some day have more of a shop but I’m liking how this is coming together.

Here’s a couple shots, my kids and I emptied the garage into a trailer we borrowed and swept the floor last night. The floor was etched today.

Nice garage is a requirement for when we buy soon . Might be rough in LA

Yeah just heard on the news LA is one of the most expensive and difficult place to buy an affordable home. They said the necessary required income to qualify for a home loan in LA is $125k and with 20% down the monthly payment would still be over $3k a month. That's crazy.

Yeah just heard on the news LA is one of the most expensive and difficult place to buy an affordable home. They said the necessary required income to qualify for a home loan in LA is $125k and with 20% down the monthly payment would still be over $3k a month. That's crazy.

Edit: Just doing some quick math that puts the purchase price near $600k. For that price you'll most likely you'll get something in a less desirable area, 40+ years old, and less than 1500 sq feet.
