Need help banks cold air intake

I have a 2012 jk put a banks cold air intake on last week was averaging 17.6 on hwy now avg. 14.9-15.6 dont know why never had this problem before wondering if anyone has come across this. Thanks jerry

sorry, i have no experience with banks but, did you make any other changes at the same time?

No other changes at all

I run the banks and gained 1mpg roughly if I keep my foot out the throttle. First week I noticed a decrease but that's because I was getting on it pretty good to hear her "sing" have your driving habits changed or maybe the type of driving, like streets vs highway? Give it a few hundred miles for the comp to adjust to the extra air flow maybe? Otherwise I would just recheck the install and call banks techs for any troubleshooting tips.
