Do you have to drop the oil pan and reseal to get this cover installed?

not according to the write-up on here. Havent looked at the instructions yet but i'm geussing no. just have to be careful not to dislodge the pan.

No you just bolt it right up over the oil pan using the existing bolts.

Right I understand that do you have to drain the oil? Do you need a new pan seal?

No need for new pan seal. Frankly you don't have to drain the oil either, but it is recommended.

i would wait until you change the oil. If you dont break the seal, it should not need changed

That's what it seems like to me as well. I'm wondering if thats the reality of it. I get my skids from evo in a week or two and still have thousands of miles left on my royal purple. I would buy new oil if I knew I need too but I don't want to untill I'm ready to change.

i'm really close to an oil change right now 3-400 miles give or take so i'm just gonna drain its. less weight in the pan so i'm less likele to break the seal.
