Think I rolled through your garage a few months back... pretty cool spot.IMG_7492.jpg ...and I am really digging those lights. Not sure why I keep putting them off.

Super easy. I picked up a preprogrammed / wired kit from ebay for about $150.

The hardest part was taking off the lower steering wheel shroud. (I actually cracked the plastic). It would have been easier to remove the steering wheel, but I'm not sure what that involves.

Actually installation of the unit was pulling a plug from the ignition, and putting the harness in between the plug and the wire that went there.

    Yep looks like the place!

The lights are a fun project once you’ve run out of more sensible upgrades.

Is there such a thing as a gin cellar?

Thanks. The lights are KC Cyclones. One under each door and one at each corner. Eight in total. I mounted them on magnets and wired them into my switch panel. Because they’re on magnets, the bumper mounted ones can be moved inside the bumper and out of harm’s way if need be. Also out of visual range for thieves.

Nice. I use the KCs for mine as well. They put out a shit ton of light for their size.

Sweet. I was going to go with pink, but .... it doesn’t really go with green.

Is your rig back in action?

Not really. I ran it last weekend, but I feel like I'm pushing my luck every time I drive her. Now the lockers are out. I'm gonna try and do a little work on her this weekend... We'll see how that goes.

And I've got both white and red lights... Both look great with green.

I appreciate the offer... One of my biggest problems has been that I'm so tired after the week I can't get motivated to work by myself. If you're ever bored on a weekend and feel like driving out to the desert, let me know.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
