The Adventure and Build thread of "Big Red"

As some of you may be following on JL Wrangler, I figured if put a thread over here as well. After all, I've been here much longer. Actually been meaning to get this up for some time, but regardless here is it.

2018 JLUR, 3.6 auto, pretty much all options but steel bumpers, purchased back in October or around then. Over the last couple months have made a few additions. Wife is still daily driving so not getting to crazy for a bit still.

    Mods so far..

Front bumper removal (Eddie minimal set up)
    Warn winch plate
    EVO D-Ring mounts
    Warn Zeon 10-S

    Rigid ignite back up lights

    Spiderwebshade

    Rancho 2" sport with 9Ks

    1.75 spidetrax wheel spacers

Have the Rock Hard 4x4 tire riser- not installed yet

Still rocking stock wheels and tires as I'm held up on any spending doing though the mortgage process. But overall coming along nicely.

Next mod will be 37" cooper STT pro's

    Then chip away at skids/sliders20181021_131138.jpg20190324_102130.jpg20190406_145321.jpg20190406_145406.jpg20190518_151337.jpg20190518_152351.jpg

Eh, more or less Haha. She's just driving it till we get her something different. Need to buy a house and a new work truck this year still. Easiest way to get more mods is let her drive a stock jeep and see all the lifted jeeps around town

Thanks, yes they really are pretty bright for how small of a footprint they are

Thank you! Think itll look alot better when I get 37s on there but certainly doesn't look to "off" for now.

Thanks, I'm a big fan of it too. May put on a quarter pounder down the road if I want more, but as for now this covers all the basis that I need, without having to do any cutting. Will mount some ARB round lights at some point, still gotta figure that out, and probably some sort of a sway bar protector bar.

Well decided to take Sulley out to cruise around the mountains for a bit, he was getting pretty restless over the course of this busy week. Took a few pics of the area and Big Red is still on stock tires but hopefully closing the house on 7/3 and can get my 37s ordered up.20190622_100528.jpg20190622_102351.jpg20190622_102123.jpg20190622_102013.jpg20190622_101832.jpg20190622_101944.jpg20190622_110503.jpg20190622_110514.jpg

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
