Okay so I'm looking at getting a 2" lift for my 2014 JK. In a perfect world I'd invest in an Old Man Emu, but since I am a college student its a tad out of my price range.. Instead, I've found a few different options Skyjacker being one of them (link at the bottom). What do you think about the quality, reliability, value, etc of this one or can you suggest another comparable? Thanks!

i wouldnt get a skyjacker lift. i had their old 2" BB lift (coil spacers and shocks) and it was a rough ride!

that being said what size tires do you plan on running? this will help us help you :thumb:

I thought it looked a bit wimpy compared to other options.. But I'm running the stock 17s for now, but eventually would like to get 17 wide trail grapplers with some nice off-road rims. I found a Superlift Suspension kit too, thoughts?

Honestly, it's hard to go wrong with such a small lift but I would steer away from this kit. I've known several people with this kit and the coils sagged in no time at all. The kit doesn't even come with shock extensions. If I were you, I would give the Rancho 2" kit a look instead. With their check card rebate going on, it's a really sweet deal and one that will even get you a set of Rancho 9000 shocks.

I just checked Quadratecs site and the Ranchos look pretty appealing, and fit the criteria of what I'm looking for! Thanks!

I also had a skyjacker lift kit on my first jeep, from experience, that brand will probably not be on my current jeep.
