The Mopar Underground Mighty FC

Debuted at the 2012 Moab Easter Jeep Safari, the Mighty FC or, Forward Control concept truck was designed by the Mopar Underground team and was by far the most impressive and different concept vehicle I have seen to date. With retro styling borrowed from the original Willys/Kaiser Forward Control truck built between 1956 to 1965, this new rendition of the FC was built off a JK Wrangler frame and made to be bad to the bone with with EVO MFG coil overs and Dynatrac Portal Axles.

Here are a few shots of the Mighty FC from the 2012 Moab Jeep Safari - Man, do I ever love this thing...

I wouldn't complain if Jeep decided to put this into production in stead of the J12 :bleh: But where's the Fuel door?

Camping would be soo much more fun!

Agreed! This thing was awesome! Glad we took the time to go over and check it.

I feel like I'm playing where's Mirek with those pictures. LOL!

The fuel fill is between the rear crossmember and the spare tire behind the tailgate.

That's a pretty cool placement idea! thanks for the info :thumb: I love the brain candy that the Underground team comes up with!

After looking at one of the pics, this bad boy would definitely need a snorkel or some revision... the air filter looks like it doesn't have much more clearance than the axles, which means heaving fording is kinda outta the question. can anyone shed some light?

It will never see deep water or rain for that matter

Haha I guess not, just thinking on the positive side :p however impossible it may be...I should probably be more realistic

Forgive the expression, but this is some heavy Jeep-Porn. Thanks WOL! Wow just when I thought the J12 was a badass concept. I would gladly take one of these over the J12. What an outstanding looking piece of metal, glass and rubber. I need some alone time now....

I've had many a dream about walking out to my driveway to find the Nukizer, FC, and Hurricane (even though it has IS, it is still bad-ass) waiting for me.

A somewhat serious question. What happens to these concept vehicles? Do they just get scrapped or do they ever hit the auction block?

tragically, yes. concept cars have an expiration date and get crushed even if they are still popular at shows.

That just sucks. It would be nice to, at the very least, have them end up in some museum or rich guy's garage.

I disagree. If I can't have it, nobody should.

Eddie is unfortunately right about them getting crushed. The yellow 2 door JK that Dynatrac's owner, Jim McGean, drove during the 2012 JKX was a Mopar owned vehicle and was headed to the crusher after the event. This was part of the reason he and his copilot were driving it like they stole it :icon_crazy:
