Auto trans fluid change

I've checked the write-ups and don't see one on changing the 4 speed automatic transmission fluid. Am I missing something or is this something better left to the dealer? My 2010 has just turned over 33K miles and I would like to do the fluid change myself unless it's not advised.

Just be aware that when changing the oil out the pan you have still got a torque converter sitting there full of trans oil unfortunately. So when you start up the engine after refitting the pan the unchanged oil in the torque converter is going to mix with the clean stuff. The only real way to replace all the oil is with a trans flush machine which changes the oil as the engine is running and therefore circulating the trans oil. That said, you still need to drop the pan to do the filter.
