Dam Michigan Road Salt

I really hate the salt Michigan flings all over the road. It's 1.4 degrees and salting has done nothing but take life off our vehicles.

Same here in PA. Salt all over the jeep, and can't wash it when it is 1°F outside...

I don't blame you about the salt, but it could be worse. Up where I live, it gets too cold for salt to even work, so they have to put down gravel. I've already got one chip in my windshield that I'll need to get fixed... and that happened just after I called my insurance company earlier this week to change my address. They had made a point of telling me that they don't cover glass damage in this area because it's so common - and from other people I've talked to it sounds like nobody does. :doh:

I am in MI too, and patiently waiting for the temps to warm up so I can wash all the salt off.
