Mystery hole

You guys know what this threaded hole is for?

This is a D-44 front out of a 2012 JK.

If that was a rear differential housing, I would say it was the bottom side and a drain hole for diff fluid like on the Mopar D44's. It's obviously a front axle, so I'm not sure what purpose it's serves.

Is this the locker power access? Or the locker light switch hole?

The TJ D44 fronts had two holes, one for the air, one with a switch for the activation light on the dash.

The house has to locker wiring plugs, one the for the plunger (on off light) the other for the locker itself
