Caught the Bug
I wanted to convert to "Wave" Thread to this ongoing build/photo diary thread, so here goes.

07/07/14

I'm Dave,("HI DAVE!!") I'm getting ready to place an order on a 2015 JKUR; this will be my first REAL jeep, and my first brand new car, couldn't think of a better one to buy! I'll be putting my 2006 Grand Cherokee up for sale as soon as I place the order, I'm holding out until 9/29 for the release of Sunset Orange Pearl, and I'll either order one that color, or order a white one depending on how I feel about the orange when I see it on Wrangler. I've always wanted a Wrangler, and have friends with them, and driven quite a few. But never one of my own! so im excited! this intro might be a little pre-mature, but hey, its coming! I can't wait!

Over the Easter weekend, I installed a LOD signature series stubby with trail stinger and a warn powerplant 12. Currently on the hunt for factory fog lights, as the mounts for the hardrock OEM fogs are different.
I'm not sure if I like the look of the LOD bumper or not. Maybe I just have a little buyers remorse as the jeep has only been on the highway lately.

Well, after talking with a few guys about gears, I have decided I want new inner and outer pinion bearings when I do the swap for peace of mind. So I called up trail jeeps, they let me pay the difference and shipped out master install kits immediately (i received the tracking email before Wes even got around to calling me back to take payment!!) They packaged RMAs with the kits, so once they get here, I can ship the standard install kits back! Now THAT is customer service!

In the mean time... this sucked. Just under 2200 miles on my brand new toyo's and I caught a nail in the drives side rear. Patched up, remounted the beadlock, aired up and back on the jeep. I hope this doesn't cause any ballance issues...

Dude, I could've sworn I recommended master kits. At least now you'll have the original bearings to flap out and use for the shim search on the new installs.
